Hi! I'm Sarah. Pronouns: she/her

I am a lover of the natural world, a proud mama, and I love working with people on changing negative beliefs about themselves so they can SHINE.

I have a passion for helping adults and teens become empowered to ditch people pleasing patterns that lead to resentment, and embody a more whole-hearted and authentic version of themselves. I want to help you build the confidence you need to use your unique and important voice.

I operate from an attachment lense, meaning that I recognize the power of relationships we have with the people around us. I enjoy helping clients explore how early relationships with caregivers and family impact their current life, and gain skills for building meaningful connections with themselves and others in the here and now, even if those past relationships have felt painful or confusing.

Identity, Values, and Credentials

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and have a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from The Crown Family School's Master of Arts Program in Social Work, Social Policy, and Social Administration. I have 10 years of experience providing clinical social work services to teens and adults in a variety of settings, including schools, residential treatment, and outpatient clinics. I am a Certified EMDR therapist (Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), and trained in other trauma-informed therapies including Brainspotting and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

I am an able-bodied, cis white woman, who is currently inhabiting Eastern Cherokee Indian land. I am committed to actively recognizing my own privilege and dismantling systems of oppression that exist in myself and the world we inhabit.
